In its design, Kalmyk traditional clothing quite different than its brethren in China and Mongolia. Seems like there are lots of influence of Caucasian and Russian Kazak clothes. Still it is very distinctively kalmyk.
I have found some pictures online and would like to share. But i don't know the date of pictures and name of each items in clothes. If someone knows , your comment is welcome.

The photo from the Kalmyk woman and girl I made in 1997 in Godschur Kalmykia.
Sorry I can't tell more about the details of the clothing.
The woman is making Kalmyk tea in a yurt. |
